Subject: Paid Wikipedia opportunity
Dear Wikipedia enthusiasts of the Northeast,
I'm very pleased to announce that Consumer Reports is seeking a
Wikipedian in Residence, for a 3-month period (with possible 3-month
extension) starting in April. This will be in support of a health
initiative, so some background in the sciences or health is desirable.
https://jobs-consumers.icims.com/jobs/2103/job
I've worked closely with Consumer Reports to design this program, and
want to help them recruit an excellent Wikipedian for the position! It
comes with a $4000/month stipend, with some relocation funding
available if needed; it will be based in their offices in Yonkers, NY
(and they have free daily shuttles to NYC).
Please forward this link to any email lists that might be interested,
and distribute however you can -- I appreciate any help you might be
able to offer in spreading the news!
Best,
-Pete

Hi everyone,
OCLC is seeking a Wikipedian in Residence to serve three months this
summer at their San Mateo, California (SF Bay Area) office. This would
be a remarkable experience for anyone, including library sciences students.
Learn more here:https://jobs-oclc.icims.com/jobs/2081/job
