      I attended the Pan American Wikimedian meet (online) last night. One of the
things discussed was that there will be more scholarships available this
year for Wikimania than has been in the years past. Wikimania will be in
Montreal this year. I have not been to a Wikimania but I hear they are a
great gathering of wikimedians.
If anyone is interested, they should apply for a scholarship.

I don't know - I think my recommendation is just do what you think best,
since you probably have the most experience with what's likely to be
relevant and such regardless. But if anyone else has some actual ideas...
