Last April, U.S. Representative https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_House_of_Representatives Joe Neguse https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Neguse and the whole Colorado delegation https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_congressional_delegations_from_Colorado introduced House Resolution 2497 https://www.congress.gov/bill/117th-congress/house-bill/2497 to designate the Granada Center as the *Amache National Historic Site* in the National Park System https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Park_Service. Although delayed by the invasion of Ukraine, the bill is awaiting resolution before final passage. We hope many members of WikiProject Colorado can help upgrade this article to Featured Article status <Wikipedia:Featured articles>.
