Updating the Public Domain Template on Commons
Editors and contributors are discussing how to update the Australian Domain
Template on Wikimedia Commons

New Workshop and Drop In Sessions Announced
Wikimedia Australia is hosting an online workshop introducing the basics of
editing Wikipedia, on the first Thursday of each month. This will be
followed by a one hour drop in session where you can ask questions, share
your work, or just hang out and edit Wikipedia together. Our first
Wikipedia workshop starts Thursday 6 July at 1:30 PM AEST. Further details

Next Community Meeting - Wednesday 12 July 7pm AEST
Our monthly community meetings are open to everyone. This month will have a
presentation from Gianluca Demartini, Associate Professor in Data Science
at the University of Queensland on his research around Wikipedia. This will
be followed by an open discussion to hear from the community. Please join

Understanding Wikimedia As A Digital Media Platform - Tuesday 11 July
12-2pm AEST
Join a lunchtime seminar/workshop on researching Wikimedia as a Digital
Platform. The session will include lightning talks of 5-10 minutes on
current or future research projects, questions, ideas or issues followed by
open discussion and input from colleagues and for developing new proposals
or collaborations. This event is being hosted as a 2023 ADM+S Symposium
