This email is to notify you that the deadline for applying for a rapid grant for the purpose of organizing Wiki Loves Africa 2024 is *1st November 2023*.

You are encouraged to complete your applications (for those who need a rapid grant) and submit on or before the above mentioned deadline. We would also be grateful if you list out details of your community on the participants page here https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wiki_Loves_Africa_2024/Participating_communities#Participating_communities_in_2024 .

The Theme for the 2024 contest is *Africa Create* and will commence in March 2024.
