is looking for a volunteer technical assistant to support the production of
podcast episodes for Season 1!
This volunteer role directly supports the EduWiki Hub’s podcast
storytelling work, which aims to share community experiences, highlight
education initiatives, and amplify voices across Wikimedia regions.
If you are detail-oriented, comfortable working with audio or podcast
tools, and interested in supporting a community storytelling project at the
intersection of open knowledge and education, we would love to have you on
board.
Key Responsibilities As our Technical Assistant, you will help ensure
smooth episode delivery by assisting with:
1. Basic recording and editing support.
2. Audio checks and technical coordination.
3. File organization and other production tasks needed for the season.

We invite you to volunteer as a reviewer for the first round of image
selection for Wiki Loves Africa 2026.
This year’s theme, Rites & Rituals, calls for images, videos, and audio
that celebrate the diverse cultural practices across Africa.
You can explore the theme in more:

By signing up, you will participate in the initial Yes (keep) / No (do not
include) review round. This stage is crucial to the success of the
competition, as it helps:

Reduce the number of entries for the international jury

Filter out submissions that do not meet technical or thematic
requirements
As a reviewer, you will assess submissions based on:

Relevance to the theme (even if loosely connected)
-
Image quality (clear, not blurred or pixelated)
-
Absence of watermarks, logos, or timestamps
The review will be conducted using the Montage platform and will take
approximately 4 hours.
Review Period: 11 May – 20 May 2026
