Yesterday I was using interwiki and for some strange reason, probably I had not update with the CVS, my bot was removing interwikis for the Nynorsk Wikipedia, what after update not occur again.
Proposal: The MediaWiki with the PyWikipediaBot could not have a control of which version bot could using? Bot would be update by versions 0,1, 0,2, ... and not for snapshots.
Regards, Leonardo Gregianin
It's not clear to me what you are proposing here.

I think I understand: "Why do we not make a page on a wikipedia that gives the minimum version of the bot that must be used to edit pages".
We could even specify minimal version strings for different modules on such a page. Not a bad idea.

It is a valid idea to of the Rob, or somewhat more complex as the MediaWiki verify the most minimum version.
