Hi Treasurers,
In addition to this list for treasurers and a list for thematic org chairpersons, do you know if there a mailing list for thematic organization EDs and presidents who act as EDs? Prior to the conference in Germany, I would like to have the opportunity to connect and consult with presidents and EDs of other thematic organizations about governance and planning matters, as well as WMF grantmaking processes that affect multiple thematic organizations.

My understanding is that there is a cabal of sorts, which has occasional phone calls, but nothing formal. I would offer to put you in touch but the only people I really knew who were part of it were Pavel and Jon!
My advice would be to drop a line to Kirill Lokshin, who is very much in your position as a US thorg leader. He would have some good suggestions. You may well have to tell them your real name, though - they tend to rely less on usernames, I think...

Hello,
There is actually a mailing list for the EDs, and we use to have phone call every six weeks. I don’t know if there is other ED on the treasurers mailing list who would express their thoughts, that’s why I put them all in copy of this email.
My personal feeling is that two separate lists for EDs and for Chairpersons/president are enough.
