Forwarding addresses

We all currently have @hemlock e-mail forwarders and mine seems to be working. However, would it be possible for @tools.wikimedia.de to work for this purpose too? Replication lag and a test

Hello all, how you all surely noticed: The replag of the toolserver is not realy decrease at the moment. For that risen, I plan to make a test: Tonight between 4 and 5 o'clock (UTC) there will be no possibility to connect to the database from hemlock (I choose this timespan because there is the lowest traffic at wikipedia). We will see, if that change anything. If yes, I can image to make this to standard untill replag is 0 again. Sincerly, DaB.

non-en is back

Hello all, the import of non-en is finished. I had allready created the views for you all, so you can use the database again. The replication hasn't started, because I need a new password from the devs. The toolserver.wiki-table is incomplete at the moment, I go to fix the at next. Mery christmas to all :). en is running, non-en is copying

Hello all, the en-dump is currently (since 2 o'clock UTC) used to restore the en-databse at zedler. No idea, how long it takes; the dump itself is 34GB big, so you can image it yourself ;). A non-en-dump (70GB gziped) is available too and should be copied to zedler soon. I plan to used it, when en-restoring is finished. So be patient, we all can use the database again soon :). First dump is building at the moment

Hello all, the first dump of two is creating at the moment. Because an en-db-server is out of rotation (it's not used by wikipedia-projects) we start with en and make non-en-later. I guess it takes several hours to make the dump and a few days to restore the data at zedler. Thanks to the wm-server-admins and TimStarling in special :). Hello all, the user-databases are finaly restored. The next step is to recreated the user-accounts and restore then the wikimedia-databases, when twincest have dump the db. Sincerly, DaB.

DaB people are asking me when toolserver will start normal work? Work of many people is paralized cause of lack of CheckUsage, etc... :( AJF/WarX
