after, there were a few tasks in the past, which run very long, and we
roots not known, if these task was right or not, I would like to say
this: If you know or guess, that a task from you will run over 2h with
more then 5% CPU-time (BTW: you can see this with the command prstat),
write a short eMail to this ML. Otherwise we will kill such tasks. So we
roots know, if a task is out of controll or not, correct long-run-tasks
will not kill and there is more free CPU-time for everybody :).
I'm currently working on web page with a list of all toolserver-users
including each users language and userpage so it's easier to contact them.
Please send me your data in *private* mail in the following format:
prefered language (i. e. native language):
second language (i. e. english, may be left empty):
userpage (e. g. http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:LeonWeber):
It would be nice to give the email-adresses on the page I'll create, but
I know the privacy problems, so I won't give it by default. If you agree
to publish your adress on that page, say so.
The collected data will be additionaly available in the mysql-table
I have start to play in a actual database-dump of the yaseo-languages.
These are jawiki, kowiki, mswiki and thwiki. I think, that would take
some time and I guess all other querys and tools, which use the db, are
slower then normal.
ca. 20:11 UTC MySQL crashed totaly. No connections could be insert
anymore. I have killed all mysql-processes and restart it.
After a chat with the wm-server-admins, I have do something wrong
(starting a secound mysql-instanz). But now, it works again (mysql was
clever enought to block my mistake). A look in the log shows many
connection errors the hole day and the days before (but perhaps this is
normal, or not importent). I hope river or gmaxwell could take a look in
Now mysql runs again and connections are possible.
The following tables was repaired:
