I think I heard that someone was writing guidelines for WMF blog posts.
This seems like a reasonable guide so perhaps you could add it as a "see
also" link in the WMF guideline document:
http://www.socialmediatoday.com/marketing/sarah-snow/2015-10-20/how-write-p…
I have no personal or professional relationship with the author or the
publisher of that piece. If anyone has better suggestions or differing
opinions I'd like to hear them!
Thanks,
Pine
Twitter has introduced a polls feature. Should we ask?
- Have you ever edited a Wikipedia article?
- True or false: Anyone can edit any Wikipedia article
- Do you use Wikipedia on your phone?
- Does Wikipedia employ paid editors, yes or no?
Something else?

Hello everyone,
Today, November 9th, is Carl Sagan's birthday. I think we all love Sagan
enough to give his birthday a shout-out from Wikipedia Fb and @Wikipedia.
Here's some proposed copy, but I know we have a following of Sagan, so feel
free to jump in! Thanks for reviewing.
Fb: "A central lesson of science is that to understand complex issues (or
even simple ones), we must try to free our minds of dogma and to guarantee
the freedom to publish, to contradict, and to experiment. Arguments from
authority are unacceptable." - Carl Sagan. Today is his birthday!

Fb: Carl Sagan's ability to convey his ideas allowed many people to
understand the cosmos better—simultaneously emphasizing the value and
worthiness of the human race, and the relative insignificance of the Earth
in comparison to the Universe. Today is Carl Sagan's Birthday!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Sagan
Fb: In addition to being an award-winning astronomer, Sagan is also
remembered for being the charismatic host of the PBS series,Cosmos: A
Personal Voyage, which has been broadcasted in more than 60 countries and
seen by over 500 million people. Happy Birthday, Carl Sagan!

after him? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Sagan
T: Happy Birthday to Carl Sagan! Did you know he was also a vocal supporter
for nuclear disarmament? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Sagan
