Ok, your site is messed up. I am attaching a working family file, but other than logining in it cant do anything else. When I tried to login using a web browser I keep getting redirected to http://nintendo-cartridges-database.the-chronicles/forums/login.php which is not a valid page, there is nothing I can do for you until you straighten out the mess that you have setup for mediawiki

Combined with a lack of automated testing, making large -or even small- changes in framework code is dangerous, to say the least. Especially since the code *will* be used throughout wikipedia, possibly causing botwars and an enormous mess. As such, I would like to suggest - *strongly* suggest - not to implement new features into trunk any more. The much cleaner rewrite should be the place to put these features. This means only bugfixes and family/language updates should go into trunk. Comments welcome. Best regards, Merlijn

user_config: family = 'wikipedia' interwiki.py since rev8762 and later does not accept -hint, -askhints, -hintfile options. For example command string: interwiki.py -lang:de Benutzer:Jackie -hint:en:User:Jackie -confirm put result: Getting 1 pages from wikipedia:de... [Pywikipedia-l] Failure to login to a new mediawiki setup

Hello I recently set up debian (squeeze) and installed mediawiki package (1:1.15.5-1) on a brand new server. The previous mediawiki server ran just fine but after redirecting the dns entry for my wiki site to the new server I tried to login only to have it fail on me. # python login.py -v -pass:thewikiuserpassword Pywikipediabot nightly:pywikipedia (r7206, 2009/09/03, 16:56:11) Python 2.6.3 (r263:75183, Oct 4 2009, 14:29:19) [C] Logging in to wikios:wikios as wikios Note: this language does not allow global bots. Login failed. Wrong password or CAPTCHA answer? Is there a setting on my new wiki site that I need to enable to allow for global bots or is there perhaps something else that is going on ? Kamikazebot put interwikilinks on a community page that has its iws on a header subpage, transcluded as a template. Should it recognize the subpage?
