Summary: Collision of commandline arguments
Initial Comment:
The "-regex" options of pagegenerators.py and replace.py are colliding.
replace.py -regex:.*AnyPostfix "search" "replace"
is a valid command, whereas
replace.py -regex "search" "replace"
isn't, because "-regex" is interpreted as a command for replace.py, but
add_text.py -regex "any text"
is a similar call that works properly and requests the desired regular expression interactively.
I recommend to change the new option of pagegenerators.py to "-regexp".

-regex is used in many other bots that use the standard pagegenerator.
I would rather change the option for replace.py to -useregex.
A warning could be issued if the -regex option is used:
else:
generator = genFactory.handleArg(arg)
if arg == '-regex':
wikipedia.output(u'Warning: changed parameter name. To
make replacements using regular expressions use -useregex

Summary: interwiki in <noinclude> in tempaltes
Initial Comment:
There is one BIG BUG:
in templates interwiki must be in <noinclude> tags, otherwise is in all articles the template is in.
If there exists at least one interwiki ling in this tags, is it OK.
But if there is no interwiki link yet, interwiki links are added to the end of template.
I have many messages from upsetted users, tat my bot added interwiki to some template.
Now the only solution is to run bot with
-localonly ...

Could some put a very higher priority on this bug.
IMHO all the interwiki links should be include in <noinclude> tags until
this bug is solved.
Now templates and subpages could not be interwiki'ed by bot, but needs to
be done by hand.
Just look at the massive lists of articles in "list of asteroids" in
english wiki and the it translation in ast, zh, an. I have started to
correct it by hand.

This is an ever-lasting and annoying bug, see "[ 1710764 ] interwiki's on
template", "[ 1729765 ] interwiki.py: templates with <noinclude>"
May somebody finally fix it?

Summary: Error interwiki.py and sysop account
Initial Comment:
I'm using a sysop bot to make some interwikies in protected pages in pt.wikinews. The bot finds a new interwikies, but the bot doesn't save.
This bot have sysop at pt.wikinews and es.wikinews, because both wikies are protecting pages to prevent spam bot and another things.
Here is a example:

It seems like an error Page.put didn't detect. Please replace line 1114 in
your copy of interwiki.py:
wikipedia.output(u'%s %s' % (status, reason))
(if this is not the line, update the file first) to:
wikipedia.output("Data: %s" % data)
(make sure to keep the spaces before the line!) and copy the results to
here. This will output the whole HTML data from the server in case of error
(note that it will contain many lines). Make sure to change the line to the
previous text before using interwiki.py again.

Summary: Change links pointing to redirect pages
Initial Comment:
Hello,
I'm admin on mediawiki site on my companie's intranet.
I have renamed a lot of pages to integrate them in a new namespace.
As a result i have a lot of links that link to the olds names of the pages which are became redirect pages.
That's a problem for us and for cosmetic reason i have to update all this links to link directly on the renamed pages.
I dont have found a pywikipedia script who can do this ?
Perhaps the idea is to collect all the redirect page like pywikepedia do it for the double redirect ones
and scan all the pages in the wiki to see if they point to one of this redirect page to finally change this links in consequence..
Thanks for your help
Best regards

Summary: interwiki: add "all" to namespace question
Initial Comment:
In Wikisource, authors are sometimes in namespace 102, but sometimes in the same namespace as the articles. The question:
WARNING: %s is in namespace %i, but %s is in namespace %i. Follow it anyway?'
appears everytime an author is encountered.
This patch adds the answer 'all' so that the question is not asked again for the same pair of language/namespace combinations.
