the next version. Quick question about this comment:
It is worth mentioning that many more Wikipedia articles already
incorporate text from openly licensed scholarly
articles (cf.

) and that a subset thereof (cf.
http://topicpages.ploscompbiol.org/wiki/Category:PLoS_Computational_Biology…
)
have actually been written by scholars for that purpose and published
in a peer-reviewed journal.
Were the articles in the subset written by scholars on Wikipedia and then
published in a peer-review journal like the article on Dengue fever? Or did
the scholars publish scholarship in a peer-reviewed open access journal in
order for the papers to be incorporated in Wikipedia articles? I think it
is the former, but just wanted to make sure that I got it right.
