Hello everyone,
I'm Sam from Urban Archive http://urbanarchive.org/, a small tech-nonprofit based out of NYC. We merge open city data with the digital collections of dozens of museums, libraries, and city agencies, making it easy for anyone to explore the history of our changing urban environments.
*We are hosting an open community call on Thursday, October 15th at 12PM EST*. If you're interested in learning more about our work or exploring contextual ways to get your digital collections out in the open, do join! We're all about open data, archives, and collaboration here at Urban Archive––and love to have you tune in.

If you have any questions or would just like to say hello, shoot me a note!
Cheers, Sam
Very nice to hear from you!
I tried using LocalWiki.org which is more in tradition of wiki work but using mapbox also and got a bit disappointed. Courious to see and understand your implementations.
Do you focus on open content only or you also run and develop open source software and services?
Best Z

Nice. Do you release datasets as open data somewhere? I couldn't find a license statement on the website.
There's a great interest for such things in Wikimedia, OpenStreetMap and beyond, as seen e.g. in the Wikimaps Warper project. https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimaps_Warper
