https://poll.deutsche-digitale-bibliothek.de/digitalisiertes-kulturerbe
Bereitstellung Ihrer digitalen Angebote umtreibt, welchen Stand Sie in

Dear GLAM Community,
Happy 2026!

the fourth Tuesday of each month throughout 2026. Mark your calendars for
this month's call on January 27 at 13:30 UTC – you can register now on the
event page.
https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Global_GLAM_calls
The calls will continue alternating between 8:00 UTC and 13:30 UTC to
accommodate community members across different time zones, with ongoing
support from the Content Partnerships Hub and the Content Enablement Team
at the Wikimedia Foundation.
We want to hear from you!
We're inviting everyone in the Global GLAM Community to submit your topic
requests and proposals.
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeX0hCAnZzbUdTLY2ncYBuFj0sn7aTw8Jf…
We're building our upcoming agendas around the five strategic pillars that
were developed at GLAM Wiki last year, which form the foundation for GLAM
activities in 2026 and beyond. By centering these pillars in our calls, we
hope to help affiliates and contributors prioritize these themes in their
own work and collaborate across time zones, countries, and languages to
advance GLAM Wiki activities together.
We are also welcoming new hosts for the calls! If you are interested in
getting involved as an organizer please use the form above as well. Looking
forward to seeing you at the call!
All the best,
GLAM Community Call Organizers

Hello everyone,
This is a notification that the deadline for the Fall 2025 MediaWiki Users & Developers Conference<https://www.semantic-mediawiki.org/wiki/MediaWiki_Users_and_Developers_Conf…> CfP is extended until September 15th. The conference will be held on October 28–30th, and hosted by the TIB Leibniz Centre in Hanover, Germany. A lot of exciting proposals<https://www.semantic-mediawiki.org/wiki/MediaWiki_Users_and_Developers_Conf…> are already coming in, but we want to give a chance to more presenters who may have found our original deadline too tight after the summer break to take part. A preliminary conference programme will be released in mid-September and the final programme will be available by Sept. 28th.
The CfP remains open to presentation and tutorial proposals on any topic related to MediaWiki usage, deployment or development, including the MediaWiki extension ecosystem (Wikibase, Semantic MediaWiki, etc). To propose a tutorial or any other form of contribution talk for this conference, just fill out this form<https://www.semantic-mediawiki.org/wiki/Special:FormEdit/Talk?Talk%5BConfer…>.
Everyone is encouraged to attend, to meet and discuss MediaWiki-related topics relating to both the Wikimedia world and uses within companies, organizations, etc.
Special thanks also to the sponsors<https://www.semantic-mediawiki.org/wiki/MediaWiki_Users_and_Developers_Conf…> of this event!
Regards,

Hi everyone,
Hope you are well.
I wanted to take the opportunity to share some information for GLAM Wiki 2025 :) we’ve updated the FAQ, but here are some highlights.
https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/GLAM_Wiki_2025
Tours! The day before and after the conference there will be tours. All over the city. So if you’re planning your itinerary you can plan with this in mind. The conference itself will be from 9-18h each day, plus evening program.
Child care! We do have the possibility to provide babysitting, but please send an email with information and a request in advance.
Accommodation! The venue is next to a metro station so accommodation in most of the city will be easily accessible. Staying near to Entrecampos will be walking distance.
Registration! In-person registration closes 30 September!
Future Updates! Join the telegram group and register for the conference - we will send emails to the participants.
Tomorrow (9 September), during the Global GLAM Call we will present some new details from the program.
