Hi Soenke,
thanks to my colleague Sarah Krichen, i'm glad to share with you the
direct link to the report :

I'm really happy that the work can be helpful. We obviously think about
the possibility of a translation.
If you have any specific question about the project or results, please
feel free to ask.
Best,

Hi Xavier,
thx much, any chance we can take a look at the report already? (French
is fine...) We are in a digital cultural heritage discussion with our
regional policy makers (Saar, i.e. Franco-German border region) and
this would probably help make our case...
best,
Soenke

Hello everyone,
I am pleased to announce the 3rd edition of the Journée Wikimédia
Culture et numérique
<https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Journ%C3%A9e_Wikimedia_Culture_et_Num%C3%A9rique_2022/Programme>
organized by Wikimédia France. This professional meeting benefits
from the partnerships of the Archives Nationales
<https://www.siv.archives-nationales.culture.gouv.fr/siv/cms/content/display.action?uuid=Accueil1RootUuid&onglet=1>,
Clic France <http://www.club-innovation-culture.fr/>, and the
Institut National d'Histoire de l'Art
<https://www.inha.fr/fr/index.html>.
This edition is remarkable because it will be the opportunity to
present the very first report on open content practices by the
GLAMs in France.
We have been working on this project for many months and we are
proud to present it to many cultural institutions and
representatives of the Ministry of Culture.
This report offers an overview and analysis of the accomplished
and on-going open content projects. It allows us to understand the
stakes, the obstacles, the constraints and the benefits of the
implementation of such policies within GLAM. The methodology based
on qualitative and quantitative analysis also allows us to
identify future perspectives, a subject that will be discussed
during round tables in the morning.
The morning tracks around the report will lead to interactive
exchanges on the afternoon between cultural professionals about
the main phases of setting up an open content project. We have not
translated yet the event page but I can propose it in French at
first:
https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Journée_Wikimedia_Culture_et_Numérique_2022
<https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Journée_Wikimedia_Culture_et_Numérique_2022>
The event, which takes place IRL, will be recorded and broadcasted
on our networks by the end of May.
I am available if you have any questions about this project. I
will soon tell you about 2 other projects related to open content
and collaborative practices that we will launch in October.
Cheers,
Xavier
