Hi everyone!
Tomorrow we'll have our monthly call. For those of you wanting to participate, here's the agenda: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1y-ooRioOKMgLJo5s9IB-kDmmq5ZXUsiAPGRBzMMJ...
The call will take place on Uberconference: https://www.uberconference.com/openglam at 2 PM UTC. Please check your timezone to know the time in which the call will take place in your country or region.
We'll be mainly providing some updates around the white paper and the Declaration, updates on some small funds to support Open GLAM related projects, and website and logo redesign.
cheers,
Evelin Heidel, 13/05/20 20:54:

Sorry for being a broken record, but is this proprietary software? I see it loads a bunch of stuff from Uberconference/Dialnet, Intercom, Pusher, Wootric... most of which I don't know. The privacy policy is less than reassuring and I can't find any information on the source code or licensing of the software in the terms of use.

Hi all,
you are welcome to use this

we use big blue button (free software) and I am happy to give whoever wants to facilitate the call an admin account to test this

Thanks both for raising your concerns and your offers. However, we decided back in the day to use Uberconference and we are happy with the service they are providing, specially for the limited use we give to the account. If you are concerned about their ToS you can read them here: https://www.uberconference.com/legal
We won't be making any changes to the service that we're using right now.
Thanks again,

Hi all,
I added a few comments to the call doc (we are finalizing a grant proposal so don't have much time today...) and am happy to follow-up on either of them,

Hello,
I was teaching and therefore unable to participate.
1. Is there a recording I could watch ? 2. Are the notes taken during the exchange ? If yes, where ? 3. I do not see any upcoming calls for 2020. Are there any planned ?
I am very interested in GLAM . I am a Belgian scientist, also the new leader of the Belgian CC chapter.
Best regards,
Nicolas

Hi Nicolas,
There's no recording available because these are informal conversations. But we do take some notes in the agenda document: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1y-ooRioOKMgLJo5s9IB-kDmmq5ZXUsiAPGRBzMMJ...
The calls happen at the same time (2 PM UTC) every second Thursday of the month. So next one is going to be on June 11, 2 PM UTC.
cheers,
