It's also the first trending app on home page, at least here.

So, can we make some noise about it, now?
Hi Andy,
We are planning the official announcement now. Clearly, the blackout took precedence recently, but also we are collecting feedback to see if there are some fixes that are urgent.

Hey everyone, Yea, it will be toward the end of next week (likely next thursday) before we talk about it officially. The cat's already far out of the bag, and there's been lots of reviews -- but we have to wait a little bit until we talk directly about it for a number of reasons, including, as Phil said, to have time for fixes and feedback, and also the blog and other communication outlets are overwhelmed by SOPA. It would be great if everyone could wait until then to make collective noise. We totally know though that it will continue to spread and be talked about in the meanwhile, which is still awesome

We have two critical fixes that have been reported via the market, one going out tomorrow hopefully and one in a few days, so I think Thursday is awesome time for an 'official' let-the-cat-out-of-the-bag-again day.

This is exciting. Looking forward to squashing those bugs and making it "official".

We pushed the new version to the store today. Fixes include
* GPS no longer drains your battery when not using near by * Offline articles are actually available offline * Accessing articles is faster due to cache behavior changes
When things die down from sopa, hackathon, and an upcoming meetup (mon) .. I promise to mail out updated stats.
But .. for those that have been eagerly waiting .. here is a sneak preview
