This NYT article makes me wonder if ITN, DYK, and/or POTD should be included on the homepage for our mobile interfaces, in an effort to increase readership:

Hi Pine, thanks for the interesting link.
I'll say from the iOS side, we are working on incorporating a feed as the homepage of the app. The initial contents of the feed will be article of the day, nearby articles and articles related to articles you recently read. However the nice thing about a feed is that in the long run we can try lots of different content types (such as picture of the day, etc) and ordering of content and measure how that impacts usage.
