Another bug in en.Wikipedia's mobile CSS, also affecting our app, has been reported;
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Village_pump_(technical)#Template_v_....
this relates to class="hlist", which is also widely used in Navboxes and some infoboxes. See:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Accessibility#Horizon...
for background.
Yes you are correct. It seems that there are several rules [1] defined on the desktop site that are not on the mobile site.
I guess the question for me is where are these rules defined (the css loader makes it difficult to locate the originating stylesheet in an svn respository) - are these custom to Wikipedia or part of any mediawiki instance?
I suspect similar rules that are being omitted so it would be good to catch those at the same time if possible and that fixing this bug [2] is probably the long term solution.

A very belated update (this problem hasn't been forgotten!)... I've been looking at getting MobileFrontend to use ResourceLoader so that it can serve Common.css as well as the MobileFrontend specific css which would give the horizontal lists
I've updated the bug report here - https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=34325 for those who are interested. I'd like to get this into the next deployment if at all possible so would appreciate help with my ResourceLoader skin woes if anyone can help there (in summary I don't want the css of a skin in the outputted page)
