For the Android app, we do indeed. If you look at the HTML of any wiki article, you'll notice an "alternate" link in the <head> tag that looks like this: <link rel="alternate" href="android-app://org.wikipedia/http/ en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barack_Obama" /> This is a deep link that tells Google that it's possible to open this page in our Android app. On Mon, Jul 13, 2015 at 11:28 AM, Toby Negrin <tnegrin(a)wikimedia.org> wrote:

Some background for iOS - Apple has *vastly* improved their deep linking support w iOS 9: http://searchengineland.com/apple-ios-9-deep-linking-promises-improved-app-… This is a huge and long overdue improvement for iOS and should really be great for our use cases.
