When I look at it at phone-scale, I prefer the text to align at the left without an icon, myself. Lindsey and I have been trying out some additional mockups and haven't come to a conclusion yet to recommend. These include–lines and row color changes, text size or color difference, and new icons and their placement. If we do end up putting icons on the left I think they will need to be much smaller.

Cool! I didn't realize we were that close. In that case, I'm all for putting the current footer links in the drop-down menu from the logo.
