And about the add-on, which license you preferer? I'm using GPL 3.0, my source code is on github.
I'm gonna create a configuration screen, so the user can select the language to search and how the search returns, (pop-up, new windows or new tab).

We are in the process of fleshing out UI designs and the pages involved will be posted soon. The goal is to generate designs that go across the different platforms in a rational way.
