It looks like the 'width: 90%' is coming from MobileFrontend, not from local site styles... Jon if you throw in a 'box-sizing' along with that it'll probably be fine, yeah.
The margins are set directly in the 'cita' template on es.wikipedia: https://es.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Plantilla:Cita&action=edit ... I'd recommend replacing the hardcoded margins here with something in MediaWiki:Common.css applying to 'blockquote' or '.citado' but I don't want to mess with sitewide templates without asking. :)

The easiest thing would be for a patch to add box-sizing border-box to all quotes. If you raise a bug I'll remember to do this when I get a free moment. That said the margins are probably superfluous on mobile? On 10 Sep 2013 08:19, "Jeremy D." notstop2@users.sourceforge.net wrote:
It appears to be the combination of the margin set manually on the
<blockquote> and the 90% width in the CSS stylesheet. The width setting forces the quote's internal box to a certain size, then the margins add space to the sides that's bigger than 10% of the screen width.

I understand that, but can this actually be changed editing the article? If not, how do we approach to view it properly? I appears some change at Wikipedia is mandatory. _______________________________________________ Mobile-l mailing list Mobile-l@lists.wikimedia.org https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/mobile-l
