Interesting find, if only for the swipe to go back and forth action. I think that's an important interaction tool when we know people love following links in the wiki.

Wikipedia Companion sets the new bar for Wikipedia readers on Android. You will appreciate the beautifully designed graphics that elevate WIkipedia from a website to something resembling a classic book or encyclopedia. This Wikipedia app autocompletes your searches with article snippets as you type.Bookmark your favorite articles for later reference. Browse your history of articles visited, or clear it with one touch! Wikipedia Companion is language-friendly, so you can search Wikipedia in many languages. Wikipedia Companion formats wikipedia pages for easy reading. No need to scroll sideways to grasp the whole article. Instead of a clunky back button, you can swipe left and right to navigate through articles you've visited, making Wikipedia Companion behave like Pulse News Reader. Wikipedia Companion lets you share articles with your friends, and displays images in a lightbox display similar to the Facebook and Twitter apps. Upcoming features: the next version will have the ability to save articles for offline reading, so you can choose Wikipedia articles to have available for reading even when you don't have internet access.
