Sure, I've just sent a e-mail about that to their "Communications' department".
My concern was about use of the tradename "Wikimedia" in Wikimedia Indigenous Languages' name if we begin to contact organizations outside Wikimedia for partnership or collaboration. Usually a chapter's need to be officially recognized before it can use the Wikimedia's name.

There must be a way to ask WMF for specific use of their logo without being an officially recognized organization.

We would need to become an organization approved by the Affiliation Committee (formerly the Chapters Committee) I think!
But there must be a simpler way.

Talking about logos,
Does any of you know how to go to ask the permission to use the WMF (and potentially the Wikipedia) logos in the name of WIL?
I don't think that WMF Board would object usage of Wikimedia logo by this group, as the group is internal to Wikimedia. It would be, of course, nice to tell them that when we create the logo and ask them if they have any objection.
