Oh Lizzy that is a lovely object. We have lots of chimneypieces on Commons (most of them came through our bulk upload from the RCE). I think this one is special because each sculpture could have its own image. We see this with the chimeypieces where often a painting is included which gets uploaded to the RKD. The RKD then calls this a series (often there are other objects besides the whole chimney ensemble in the room, such as wall paintings and so forth). I would go ahead and stuff anything you have into the dimensions field, but untangling the various objects is difficult when it is more than one. That's why it is best to have images of all the related objects tied together in a category, but I guess the upload tool won't do that.

Hi Jean-Fred,
That is a very good solution! It is very precise because it also tells you what you were measuring and easy to implement too. I would be all for your solution!
(And let me share our measurement nightmare: https://www.rijksmuseum.nl/nl/search/objecten?q=BK-1995-3&p=1&ps=12&... an 18th century mantelpiece. I am not going to upload this item now, but a solution like yours would create some sort of order in this chaos).
Best wishes

Hi Lizzy,
Thank you for your work !
Formatting it like
{{size|cm|height=379.5}} {{size|cm|width=453.5}} {{weight|kg|337}}
seems like the most logical course, if you're not sure all the units
for height/width will be the same.
Thats a great solution! Thanks!
Tangentially to that: for a while now I was playing with the idea of adding an extra parameter to {{size}}.
For media like < https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Confirmation_du_roi_Louis_VI_le_Gros..., I had dimensions for the piece of parchment and the seal. I was thinking of something like {{Size|unit=cm|diameter=9|part=seal}}. Would that be useful in your opinions ?
