Most are in the United States. There's a map of their locations at:

Can anyone oblige, please?
Hello,
Most of these are in out of the way places. The ones in Syracuse, San Jose, and Louisville are in the biggest cities.
That map is hardly helpful as it gives no GPS coordinates and there is no list of the locations of things. I think almost all of these are on private property.
In the best case, it seems to look like any other tree. <http://www.treeof40fruit.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/Tree-74-419x700.jpg
I wonder if the tree will begin to look more unusual when it matures.
Someone could write to the artist for a picture but he has no contact information on his website.
yours,

Already done, some weeks ago; no reply.
I've driven farther in Kentucky to take less pleasing to look at images!
I did a quick search on line and found this listing about the opening of an exhibit at a museum in 2012. Ihttp:// www.landoftomorrow.org/events-exhibitions/six-new-exhibitions/
Also, the tree is at a museum, 21c Hotel Museum, in Bentonville, Arkansas. http://www.21cmuseumhotels.com/bentonville/museum/exhibits/tree-of-40-fruits...
I might be going to Louisville next week, if I do, I'll try to check it out in person.

Sorry I missed it this year: we were in Syracuse briefly in February, but that was way too early, and we aren't moving there anymore -- so next year I will have to give it a try -- my travel this year, was just too busy. A reminder, will make it a good reason to go exploring for a weekend -- I am based about 3-6 hours from most of those locations in New England.
Cheers,
Alex

Anybody have a lead on more specific locations? I'm specifically wondering about the one in Pound Ridge. I'll be driving through the vicinity a couple times this summer, but having trouble pinning down where it is. He says he's done some for private collections, etc. so it may be that only a small subset of these are actually accessible to the public...

Right after Wikimania, I’ll be visiting near Newton, Mass. so if I remember I’ll try to go photograph/video the tree.

Yes, it's good to have that - but we really need a picture of a tree in bloom, like this:
http://www.treeof40fruit.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/Tree-for-web-rect-98...
Hi all,
I know it's not ideal and that an image of the tree in bloom would be better. Since I don't live in Syracuse, though, this is the image I could get. One can at least see the different leaves. Perhaps someone who lives near one of the trees or someone who was around one of them earlier in the season might have pictures of a tree in bloom. It's the best I could do for now!

Hi all,
I was surprised how little information there is about where either of the trees are in Pound Ridge, NY. It's a small town, so it seems something which got national media coverage would at least get *some *local press. Alas, no luck reaching out via social media. My detective work based on details of the photos narrowed it down to a small area, but it appeared to be all private property. So I contacted the artist to find out where they are. Indeed, they are not open to the public. But in the course of that email conversation, he and his representatives agreed to release a small number of photos. We didn't get all that I asked for, but we did get 6, and I think they complement Lea's photo, as we now have leafy, flowering, fruiting, and the fruit itself (and a diagram). None of them are very high resolution, though, so it would still be great to get more... https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Tree_of_40_Fruit

Ryan, that's great! I can understand they might not want people tramping about their yard. I am so impressed that you got some good photos released. That's wonderful. Thanks so much, Mary

If they are budding now, I sure hope the New England trees weren't damaged by our blizzard and ice. I'll look them up on the map to see if any are near me.
