I was surprised how little information there is about where either of the trees are in Pound Ridge, NY. It's a small town, so it seems something which got national media coverage would at least get
some local press. Alas, no luck reaching out via social media. My detective work based on details of the photos narrowed it down to a small area, but it appeared to be all private property. So I contacted the artist to find out where they are. Indeed, they are not open to the public. But in the course of that email conversation, he and his representatives agreed to release a small number of photos. We didn't get all that I asked for, but we did get 6, and I think they complement Lea's photo, as we now have leafy, flowering, fruiting, and the fruit itself (and a diagram). None of them are very high resolution, though, so it would still be great to get more...
