Any idea why the skin appears to be broken, with an URL like this? See attachment (correct and broken style)

Hi everyone
I am looking for advice in creating a sidebar for a wiki running Foreground. I want to give the pages a - let's say 250px wide - sidebar on the right that I can fill with a page (similar to MediaWiki:Sidebar which doesn't really control a sidebar but the main menu). Because of Foreground's grid layout there probably have to be some things to be considered. To keep the page responsive, the sidebar should disappear on smaller screens and its content instead move below the rest of the page content.
Has anyone made an attempt at this before? Thanks in advance. Cheers
Sebastian
After I upgraded from 1.26 to 1.29 certain UI elements seem to have reset their scaling and/or color. For example, the bar at the top now has black sections with white text when they should be yellow sections with black text. Are there any known causes of this? How should I troubleshoot this? I've tried changing the CSS to match but it doesn't seem to affect the kin itself.
For reference, I am trying to make this page https://wikiapiary.com/w2/index.php?title=Main_Page look like this page https://wikiapiary.com/wiki/Main_Page
Hello,
I managed to make Echo and Foreground work together (thanks to last 2.1.0
alpha version of the skin).
But I need one more thing to get done before being totally satisfied with
how my wiki "Le Dico des Ados" <https://dicoado.ch/> is set up. Whenever I
get a new message in my talk page, I won't see it before going in the top
right menu and see a small inconspicuous line telling me that I got a
message. That should come directly in the notification area from Echo
extension.
Any idea how to get that done ?
Thanks !

Heiya,
this is probably a question directly for Tom. :)
What about the 2.0.0 release? Officially the latest release is 1.2.0 but
in the meantime more and more wikis are running master of Foreground
which is 2.0.0 and soon there will be more of them than for the official
release (stats by WikiApiary).
I guess it will be cool to get 2.0.0 officially off the ground.
Cheers Karsten
Heiya,
every time I add Forground to a new wiki the question arises on how to
adapt to the new wikis planned identity, i.e. it's look and feel.
I have become a bit tired of looking for a wiki that implemented
something I have in mind. Thus I changed the Customization page [0] to
show a gallery of ideas and when you click on the images you get to the
respective CSS you can use to adapt your wiki.
I would very much welcome other to share their adaptations together with
a screenshot on this page too. I know you have done pretty cools stuff
on your wikis however I am unable to find it.
This would help us all in avoiding to reinvent the wheel so please
participate.
Cheers Karsten

For several weeks now I've been trying to get the 'StatCounter.com Integration' [1] extension working with foreground, which I really like. And each time I've failed. The only time the extension is called is to appear on line #92 of any page of my website, where its calling the 'Site statistics' in the sidebar. This is the actual coding that appears in the web-page source -
--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
</li><li class="has-dropdown active" id="p-statcounter">
<a href="#">Site statistics</a>
</li></ul>
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---
However, using the 'vector' skin the same call of statcounter shows -
--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
</div>
<div class="portal" role="navigation" id="p-statcounter" aria-labelledby="p-statcounter-label">
<h3 id="p-statcounter-label">Site statistics</h3>
<div class="body">
<!-- Start of StatCounter Code -->
<script>
var sc_project=123456;
var sc_invisible=0;
var sc_security="5abcde3d";
var scJsHost = (("https:" == document.location.protocol) ? "https://secure." : "http://www.");
document.write("<sc"+"ript type='text/javascript' src='"+scJsHost +"statcounter.com/counter/counter.js'></"+"script>");
</script><script type="text/javascript" src="https://secure.statcounter.com/counter/counter.js"></script><span class="statcounter"><a class="statcounter" href="http://www.statcounter.com" target="_blank"><img src="https://c.statcounter.com/t.php?sc_project=11274564&java=1&security…" alt="StatCounter - Free Web Tracker and Counter" border="0"></a></span>
<noscript><div><a title="free hit counter" href="http://statcounter.com/free-hit-counter/" target="_blank"><img src="http://c.statcounter.com/11274564/0/5a6d142d/0/" alt="free hit counter" /></a></div></noscript>
<!-- End of StatCounter Code --> </div>
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---
Is there any chance that this could be fixed please, as 'foreground' is
a really great skin and I like using it, but I also like my statcounter
stats as well. Ideally I'd like both of them to work together which
would be really great :).
Oh, and I've redacted the project ID and security ID, which is a bit
pointless really because the extension page shows how to access them! :)
Thanks
Sharon.

Has anyone been able to get the 'statcounter' extension to work with
mediawiki and foreground please? I have it installed and the only thing
that it seems to do is to 'Site statistics' into the sidebar. There are
no calls to its home site, nothing!
I do have these other extensions installed though -
--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
wfLoadExtension( 'TextExtracts' );
wfLoadExtension( 'PageImages' );
wfLoadExtension( 'Popups' );
wfLoadExtension( 'CiteThisPage' );
wfLoadExtension( 'Gadgets' );
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---
Thanks
Sharon.

Time to feed back for all the help that I've been given.
- To get text to wrap round a TOC - put '#toc { float: left; clear: both; margin-right: 2.0em };' in Mediawiki:Common.css.
- To get categories to appear in a table - as part of a table use '|* [[:Category:Anticonvulsants|Anticonvulsants]]'
- To get access to a specific place in a file from the sidebar - use 'README_FIRST#Cocaine|Cocaine'
- to get a site-wide TOC level limit - add '$wgMaxTocLevel = 3;' in LocalSettings.php
Hope these help folk.
Thanks for all the help that I've been given
Sharon.

Hello! I'm fairly new to wiki making and have been experimenting with
Foreground lately. I've noticed that my grids are not stacking on mobile
and wonder if I might be missing something?
Let me know what info you need.
Here's one of the pages that are messed up:
