Hi all,
This is probably more of a MediaWiki question, but since it is directly
related to Foreground, maybe one of you has run into the same issue?
I just installed mediawiki 1.33, and Foreground 2.2.1 I want to change the
color of the title bar, so I go to
http://<my_site>/index.php/MediaWiki:Foreground.css
But I get
There is currently no text in this page. You can search for this page title
<http://wiki.lrose.net/index.php/Special:Search/Foreground.css> in other
pages, or search the related logs
<http://wiki.lrose.net/index.php?title=Special:Log&page=MediaWiki:Foreground…>,
but you do not have permission to create this page.
I added myself to Administrators (I was able to edit MediaWiki:Sidebar for
example), but no luck with Foreground.css. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Bruno.
Hi Everyone,
I am trying to modify the skin to remove the CSS links in head,
specifically the "site" module and the "skins.foreground.styles" and
instead add inline CSS for the top-bar.
Any recommendations?

Nischay Nahata
Hi,
On the following section page (
https://www.wikimanche.fr/Saison_2017-2018_de_l%27AS_Cherbourg_Football#Eff…),
we have a problem displaying tables in wikimanche, with the skin
"Foreground". Indeed the table does not have the same rendering and the
designers who do not master at all the CSS code have turned to me to try to
solve the problem.
For Vector and Monobook there is no problem but with Foreground every other
line does not display the desired color. I'm trying to find a solution
using the debugging tools that allow to see the code. I think I found the
parameter responsible (table tr:nth-of-type(2n)) but I failed to apply a
fix.
So I leave it to your celerity, which I do not doubt will help to correct
this problem.
Best regards
Christian
Hi,
I found my tables are always striped (odd rows and even rows having
different background color). When I add an "unstriped" class to the <table>
tag like what says on the Foundation official site, it just doesn't work.
How can i unstrip a table, please help.
Hey Everyone
I just wanted to let the members of this list know, Foreground is getting
ready to release version 2.1.0. I know most of you have been using alpha or
beta of either 2.0 or 2.1 (or some variation). If you are using v1.x please
read the release page carefully. I have added in the changes introduced in
v2.x which have backwards compatibility breaks with all those who may still
be using Foreground v1.x.
The release candidate page is here:
https://github.com/thingles/foreground/releases/tag/2.1.0-rc1
You can download the files to install. If you are using Git on you server(or
dev server), just pull down the changes to the develop branch or fetch and
checkout the v2.1.0-rc1 tag.
Testers are appreciated greatly. If there are any issues with rc1 please
open an issue. I would like to finalize this release by 2/18. It is already
being tested on https://foreground.wikiproject.net but more testers are
really appreciated.
Thanks for using Foreground!

Ah, that’s outputted by mediawiki automatically because it is appended to the $bodyContent. Not sure why Google would zero in on that. It is hidden by default, even on MediaWiki.org. Perhaps more content on page or a hook to add a meta description tag for main page.
Not sure that can be controlled because it is appended in the SkinTemplate class automatically. Would be a good question as to why there’s no control.
First answer I just did a search on your domain and saw this...in English search.
Checking more with site: in Google everything looks good.

Hello,
Any idea why the front page of my website https://dicoado.org/dico/
Dico:Accueil is shown as
"Récupérée de « https://*dicoado*.org:443/wiki/index.php?title=Dico:Accueil&
oldid=13219 ». Contenu disponible sous licence CC BY-SA 4.0. Contributeurs
· À propos du Dico des Ados · Aide. "
on google.com results ?
It seems like it's a part of the footer that isn't (partly) even visible
for users.
Not sure it's a foreground issue but not sure it isn't either ! :)
Thanks for your feedback.

Hi
I installed Foreground skin v2.1.0-alpha on my MediaWiki site with version
1.30.0, but the navbar seems to be broken into three rows, and the page
width is too narrow. However, when refreshing the page, everything appears
ok for one second, then it immediately changes to the broken style.
Any idea why is this happening?

Thanks.
