Hello,
You are cordially invited

join us for the launch of Curationist.org and for a guided experience of
our new platform!
*Wednesday, December 7, 20224pm EST*
Learn more about how Curationist’s free website connects users to over 4.4
million digital artworks and cultural objects sourced from our partner
museums, radically broadening the reach of these collections.
The webinar
<https://us06web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_HGeJv2fUTaOnPE8mVi3Bkw> will
celebrate open-access arts and culture as a vital digital tool to reimagine
cultural narratives, challenge historical inequities, and create vibrant
ecosystems of shared knowledge.
Imagine new ways to bring open-source metadata directly to the communities
that created and care for their art and artifacts.
Hear from members of the Curationist team and free knowledge movement,
including Local Contexts’ Jane Anderson, the Wikimedia Foundation’s
Virginia Poundstone, and metadata specialist Sharon Mizota.
*Register now*
<https://us06web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_HGeJv2fUTaOnPE8mVi3Bkw>!
At launch, users will be able to explore Curationist’s ever-growing archive
of public domain and open access artifacts and artworks and peruse the
critical perspectives and fresh takes published in our editorial features.

Hello,
You’re the first to know that MozFest is officially accepting session ideas
for our 2023 festival, through December 16, and the earlier you submit your
idea, the better! You can learn more about the Call for Session Proposals
process or submit your idea here
<https://www.mozillafestival.org/en/proposals/?utm_source=ambassador&utm_med…>
.
2023 MozFest Spaces
Now that the Call for Proposals is open, I’m also thrilled to share this
year’s Spaces. Think of Spaces at MozFest as mini-festivals. Within each
Space, participants can find everything they need – interactive,
community-led sessions, inspiring talks, art installations, lots of coffee,
and community – all within a common theme. If you choose to submit a
session proposal, you’ll need to decide on a Space in which to submit it.
