Hello Everyone!
Hope we're all doing great? This is a quick check-in to notify us all that very soon, there will be a lot of activities happening on the AWMD phab board. If you haven't created a Phabricator account, do so here: https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/ [1].
In addition, after you create your phab account, make sure to subscribe (add yourself as a member) to the AWMD work-board here: https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/project/members/2858/%5B2]. It's important you add yourself as a member of the group (especially if you're from Africa and a Developer) in order to follow activities going on to stay up to date.
We've some good news!
*Wikimedia has been selected to participate in Google Summer of Code 2018 as a mentoring organization. So if you intend to apply, join us on IRC here: **#wikimedia-dev-africa.*
Don't miss this opportunity to apply for a project that interests you, find some of them here: https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/tag/possible-tech-projects/ [3]. Thanks very much and if you have any questions, you can reply here or ping on IRC :) Have a nice day!
