Good job with revamping the site - I'm so pleased it works properly on
mobile. With the blog posts do you have a particular brief in mind? I'm not
committing to writing one *just *yet as I've got a backlog of about six
other posts I should have written, but I could probably be persuaded.

Hi Michael,
Would there be any scope for focusing on/highlighting war memorials,
especially as this November will be the centenary of the end of WWI? We
have two lists on the English Wikipedia of grade I and grade II* listed war
memorials in England, and many more categories on Commons for grade II and
for Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Historic England have been
working to list hundreds of war memorials over the centenary.
I'm sure I could put together a few paragraphs for a blog post if it would
help.

Hi all
The Wiki Loves Monuments UK website is now live:
http://www.wikilovesmonuments.org.uk/
Please have a look and let me know if you have any feedback.
We particularly need help with:
1. Writing short blog posts, to be released between now and the end of
September
2. Providing material for the England, Scotland, Wales and NI local
pages, for example meetups, local initiatives, suggestions for local
subjects to photograph and so on.
3. Getting the word out to local photographic and local history
societies.
Please help if you can.
Michael
