Hi folks, I am pleased to announce that this morning, I start work as Wikipedian in Residence at The New Art Gallery, Walsall <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_New_Art_Gallery_Walsall> I hope to have a project page on-Wiki later today, but in brief the main part of the project will be running a series of free open events for members of the public to learn to edit Wikipedia, and to use the gallery's impressive library an archives. Of course I'll also be training gallery staff, and advising the management board on their strategic approach to open content. This residency runs alongside my existing residency at Lancashire County Council's Queen Street Mill Textile Museum.
