Hy,
I have noticed the tread "[Wikipedia-l] Please test sound clips."
The articel [[Simon and Garfunkel]] has some audio on it and the general
evolution on wikipedia is more sound and images.
How is the legal point of this ? Are there things that the English
Wikipedia can do and things that other wikiepdia's are not may do ?
To know of the use of a very small part of a song is allowed i have
lookt at the site of SABAM, the bloodhound of copyrights in Belgium.
In there FAQ is stated very clear that it is absoluly not allowed to use
ANY music whitout permission. Also for 5 or 10 seconds.
I have the impression Wikipedia is in a clear violation of those
copyrigths. How do you think about it ? -- giskart
