I land in Nairobi late on the night between the 14th and 15th, around 1:30am. This means that the first meeting can take place on the morning of the 15th.

I just noticed the 14th - 18th dates though last time I spoke with Asaf, he mentioned that he'll be available for 4 days; maybe he can clarify this.

Stephen, I don't know which letter you are using, but I've attached the appropriate
one, just incase.
Oscar, Yes, we are full. But of ideas, not confirmations. As far as I know, we
only have Strath & Google confirmed. I second your idea about our meetup. I was at iHub today and Tosh told me that iHub will be really busy during mid-August.
Alex, Asaf will be here for 5 days: from 14th to 18th. Stephen, Alex raised a good point regarding Egerton costing us a full day, which
will be kinda difficult to squeeze. I think we hould put it on hold until end of next week and if we wouldn't have gotten any confirmations from local universities; then we can take that into consideration.

Alex, Nice thought,I think we are full.Plus we need a session with Asaf as WMKE members remember? We could slot that as an informal get together and chat with Asaf on a relaxed set up..preferably an evening...just a wild suggestion:-) Otherwise nice job guys, cheers for the good work

So just keeping track so far. Asaf will be in Kenya for 4 days one of
which
he'll be in Mombasa so when planning for Nairobi and Nakuru, we should
take
into account that we have 3 days.
So far, we are looking: Strathmore, UoN, Nairobits, Egerton, Daystar,
USIU,
government institutions and Google.
Egerton may take an entire day so if all these institution will
confirm,
then I think we are full...!

Ok, I have the two letters that you forwarded, unless there are
others.
I will go ahead to contact the guy at Egerton.
As for USIU and Daystar, I do not have any contacts that we could
use but
if
somebody is available, paying these campuses a pre-visit to have
meeting
permits and appointments from the respective dean of students sounds better.
It's to our advantage that the two campuses ,USIU and Daystar are
all
located within NBO.
