[QA] RVM and/or rbenv

It was a while ago, I have probably forgotten the entire story. I thought I
was pushing for it, but it is likely that it was already in place when I
joined.

Anyway, at the time (a year or two ago) it was probably the way to go. We
might want to revisit that decision now. The Ruby Toolbox says rbenv is
slightly more popular than rvm[1].
