Correct. The goal of MediaWiki-Vagrant[1] project is to provide everything
a new MediaWiki developer needs to get started, in a virtual machine. It
has several optional "roles". The one we use (browsertests role) adds to
the virtual machine everything needed for browser automation (Ruby,
Selenium, Firefox...).
