Just a note on this; we're in the process of reworking the phone system,
along with the other improvements that have been and continue to be made
to office IT since we brought in Rob full-time this year.

Rob has been working on building this up the right way, based around the
open-source Asterisk PBX server. Unlike our current system we'll have
proper voicemail (as in working regularly and under our control) with
remote access, as well as free VoIP access for the folks not in the office.

We're still evaluating some of the components, so it'll be a while
before it's fully deployed, but rest assured we will have voice mail in
the future. ;)
