It is barely any more work for you to translate them on the talk
pages. It is other people who have to do the extra work (or copying
them back), and it would seem there are plenty willing to do that.

Your attitude towards adminship leaves a lot to be desired, especially
considering you are already an admin on another project. If the
community in question doesn't want you to be an admin, then you are
not going to be an admin - no form of appeal is going to help you.
