Congratulations! This is great news.
Sadly, I won't be attending in person, but will gladly help with online efforts if necessary.
Have a nice week, wherever you may be Rute

Thank you for the nice news Florance!
I remain interested to contribute in whichever form I can and was even to help with in local onsite organizing with professional connection I have to Art+Science Museum in Singapore to maybe do activity there...however during my organizing of Queering Wikipedia 2023 days (as I lost control over email flux) I got negative reply to my scholarship and I only saw it very recently.
I am personally disapointed considering the presented 3 themes (Diversity. Collaboration. Future.) and the fact that I never attended, have no national or other affiliates in both Croatia and Bosnia&Herzegovina, that I was not selected even for partial scholarship waiting list and given any elaboration... that just feels very strange and alienating. I would really look for lists of distribution of participants, their actual diversity, collaboration extent and 2030 engagement.
Anyway hope others got it better and have more options to fund their travel and stay. I will follow up with online participation plan unless something changes. I would encourage others who want to coordinate for online-only access also to get in touch.
Best Z. Blace

Hello friends
It is my honor and my privilege to inform you that our WREN panel at Wikimania has been accepted !
Yooohooo !
https://wikimania.wikimedia.org/wiki/2023:Program/Submissions/Learn_and_disc...
So to make things move forward, we first need to know who will then actually be attending Wikimania in person. I put nice little boxes for you to directly indicate whether you will be joining the panel, directly on the wiki.
*Please edit the wiki directly* (this will be a nice way to have the usernames collected) by checking your box "yes". Do not forget to log-in...
Thanks
Anthere

Thank you for leading on this.
I made small changes on Wiki page, but considering the notice there...
The following is a mirror of what are publicly available details of submission made at the call for proposal platform, Pretalx https://pretalx.com/wm2023/cfp. Any changes here may be overwritten by a bot while syncing updates from Pretalx. Changes are monitored and may be updated into Pretalx if they do not change the context of the submission (i.e. correcting typographical errors).
...it will be overwritten soon? ;-p

Hi all,
I'm still keen to be involved, but I will be away from Wednesday this week until mid-April and I won't be checking emails. So I probably can't be much help around the application process.
Regardless, I'll be at Wikimania, so if there's still a possibility of joining this panel I'll be there and can check in with everyone when I get back.
Thanks

Hi,
I'm still uncertain if I will come or not (tbh, it will mainly depend on if I've got a scholarship or not) but if I'm here, I'll be glad to share my experience (like Martin, including the use of Wikidata).
