Hi all,
I don't know yet if I will go to Wikimania this year, but my colleague Hugo Lopez will go. We are part of a project from the Ministry of higher education and research: the ministry is funding 3 WIR per year in 3 big universities + 1 coordinator at Wikimédia France. This project started last month.
And if I come, I can also organize a WikiCheese session ;)
Best, Pyb

I’d be happy to be involved. The two distinctive angles I have to offer are that 1) my residency is now explicitly about culturally diversifying Wikimedia projects- not just about the host institution’s collections. 2) using Wikidata queries to support my work on Wikipedia, e.g. to find translations into other languages of articles I’ve written. Hi all,
I'd be interested in joining this panel to talk about Wikimedia Australia's residencies.
There's a bit about a residency I did last year here: [ https://wikimedia.org.au/wiki/Wikimedian_In_Residence_Wrap_Up | https://wikimedia.org.au/wiki/Wikimedian_In_Residence_Wrap_Up ]
