Dear WPWP Local Organizing Team and participants ,
We hope this email finds you well and you are keeping safe amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic that has disrupted many activities globally.
The WPWP Campaign is now closed in many countries and we am excited to inform you that the campaign added photos to more than 80,000 https://hashtags.wmflabs.org/graph/?search_type=or&project=&query=WPWP%2C+WPWPRW%2C+WPWPRT%2C+WPWPUIL%2C+WPWPTH%2C+WPWPSQ%2C+WPWPCA%2C+WPWPCM%2C+WPWPIN%2C+WPWPMK%2C+WPWPNG%2C+WPWPTR%2C+WPWPLV%2C+WPWPTZ%2C+WPWPZM%2C+WPWPPT%2C+WPWPBW%2C+WPWPML%2C+WPWPGN%2C+WPWPIT%2C+WPWPDZ%2C+WPWPHI%2C+WPWPSR%2C+WPWPWLF&user=&startdate=&enddate= Wikipedia articles in 269 languages and 569 people participated in the campaign globally.
This is a huge success and the campaign would not have been this successful without your quality contributions. Although, we experienced some difficulties during the campaign but that is not uncommon for a new campaign, especially a campaign that involves editing the mainspace in multiple languages Wikipedia.
We are documenting our learning and community feedback and we strongly believe they would be useful for improving the next edition of the campaign.
We plan to constitute the International Jury Team this week and if you would like to join us in coordinating the Jury, please let me know.
Thanks for all your contributions to the WPWP Campaign this year and congratulations to you.
With best regards, Isaac Olatunde Project Manager and Coordinator

Thanks for the well-wishes. To join the jury, you would need to have a basic understanding of the image used policy, and particularly the Manual of Style for image used.[1]

Hi Isaac, Here is a link of one of the participants on 30th August: https://mk.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%A1%D0%BF%D0%B5%D1%86%D0%B8%D1%98%D0%B0%D0%...
We found this out because this participant will get a prize if her activities of 30th August are listed. Otherwise, she is not in the first 9 (one participant with the best results will get a voucher of 200 euros, and the other 8 will get the same prize - voucher of 100 euros). We don't want to make a mistake, so we checked the last two and found out this mistake.

Hi all,
Without spending some time on this it's hard to say how much data is missing, I see we did track some data on August 30th. Unfortunately we don't have the resources or capability to easily fill that data gap.
Sorry I can't be more helpful.
Sam

Hi Zana,
Looking at your winners, I think the only one is affected is your last place -- so please feel free to adjust if that is the case for you. I don't think we will have a rapid fix for the tool, sorry.
Cheers,
Alex

Hi Alex and Sam,
Will this gap be fixed? We are waiting in order to proclaim the winners.

Interesting -- I am finding at least one of their contributions: https://hashtags.wmflabs.org/?user=&page=3&project=&query=%23WPW...
I looked into the edit history and compared to the stats coming out of the stats tool: the gap seems to be on August 30 -- the tool was having some data problems in the last few weeks and it might have skipped a day: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1BS6TVrG4fK7GWcYsJzGRb4Fc1KcDsYq5vH7l...
@Sam can you confirm if any other days were missing?
Cheers,
Alex

Hello Zana, It is not clear why the contributions were not tracked. I have copied Sam Walton & Alex Stinson as they have a better understanding of how this tool works than me.

Regards, Zana
