- Notification of Chandapiwa Molete's withdrawal from participation at WikiIndaba 2019 - Visa refusal of Mr Rossouw Van Rooyen by the Nigeria High Commission to Namibia ( We have confirmed the resolution of our embassy in Namibia not to issue this visa)
We, therefore, require to consider more people for the available slots.
Emna, the current Wikimedians of the Year stated her intention to attend the conference. She further told me that she regretted her inability to register for the scholarship during the window period for the scholarship application.
What do we think?

I agree with Emna being sponsored too.
The other part of the email is more concerned with time.
We need to create a new waiting list which will contain names of people who are coming from Visa free countries with Nigeria regardless of gender whom we think are gonna add value into the conference. This mailing list can also include people who are in the original list who are active Wikipedians whom we think will gain or contribute positively to the conference.

The Local organising committee, Wikiindaba 2019 write to notify you that we have allotted the under listed unallocated scholarship slots as follows:
1. Felix Narte's scholarship to be replaced by* Emna Mizouni* ( Tunisia) 2. Isla Haddow's scholarship to be replaced by *Azibert Yakhoub* (Chad) ( His name was in the initial list sent to WMF, but it erroneously omitted from the current master list. A congratulatory email was sent to him on 7th August. 2019) 3. Chandapiwa Molete's scholarship to be replaced by *Rezkallah Fayçal Mohammed *(Algeria) Since, Reda refusal to attend Indaba, there is no Algeria on the list, hence our decision to add Fay. He's already on the waiting list. 4. Rossouw Van Rooyen's scholarship to be replaced by *Abderamane Brahim Abakar* ( Chad) Visa-free to Nigeria
