Dear all,
Hope this email finds you well.
I am reaching out to you this time to share with you (I am sure most of you know this information in advance) that the applications to be part of the Working Groups for the movement strategy are open!
Would be great if many of us take part of the discussions. As you might know we have a new strategic direction and during the next months and through these different groups we will discuss and define recommendations for the movement!
To understand better what does it mean to participate, you can find more information here https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Strategy/Wikimedia_movement/2018-20/Working_Groups To apply, you can do it here https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Strategy/Wikimedia_movement/2018-20/Working_Groups/Apply .
Any question I can help! This process is leaded by Nicole Ebber and Kaarel Vaidla and of couse I can contact with them if needed!
Hope to hearing from you!
Hugs!
Hi Anna,
Thank you for this reminder.
I have been asked to participate in the Movement Strategy Steering Committee (I think you are on that committee, too), so I won't be applying for a Working Group, but I would heartily encourage other Wikiwomencampers to apply.
I would encourage those who do apply to put forward their best possible application as I think there will be some strong candidates competing to be on the Working Groups.
Lastly, -*and this is just my opinion*- I would suggest that Wikiwomencamp applicants think "strategically", e.g. if all Wikiwomencamp participants apply for a seat on the Diversity Working Group, probably only some will be selected, but if we spread ourselves out, and apply for some of the other Working Groups, there's a better chance that more of us will be selected.
Best, Rosie

Hi Rosie, Anna and all,
Thanks for the reminder. Sorry I was too late to read Rosie's suggestion, so I only applied the Diversity Working Group. ^^;
