Łukasz Garczewski:
Thank you for the information but... Why, exactly?
the deletion was proposed by Marcus Buck (de:User:Slomox) and decided here:
<http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Proposals_for_closing_projects/Closure_of_Low_Saxon_Wikiquote>
following the policy outlined here:
<http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/New_project_policy#Closing_of_a_project>
which requires board approval; however, based on the foundation-l
discussion in this thread:
<http://lists.wikimedia.org/pipermail/foundation-l/2007-May/029937.html>
in which Erik and others proposed that stewards and/or community
members may reach consensus without board intervention, and no one
offered any objection, and since the wiki was clearly inactive and there
was community consensus to close it, i honoured the request anyway.
the final request to close the project was made here by Johannes Rohr:
<http://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9961>
finally, anyone wanting to re-open this wiki can do so following the
new procedure for requesting new languages at
<http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Requests_for_new_languages>
i will try to provide more details when creating/closing wikis in the
future.
