Cbrown1023 of the English Wikiquote has requested that fellow administrator, Poetlister, be removed as a sysop citing reasons such as being a staff member of Wikipedia Review (http://wikipediareview.com/) and being blocked on the English Wikipedia as a sockpuppet (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WP:AN#Runcorn_and_sockpuppets_banned).
Just to be clear, no formal request for desysopping Poetlister on Wikiquote has been filed yet at [[q:en:WQ:RFA#Requests for de-adminship]]. The overall discussion about [[q:en:User:Poetlister]], where desysopping (among other things) is being considered, is taking place on the village pump (see the link below).

The issue in itself is quite complicated, but Poetlister's trust has been put into question and after discussion, she may face a vote on whether or not she may keep her sysop status. Due to the fact that many users on the English Wikiquote may have a conflict of interest and we need more opinions to be fair, I request that any and all user who read this put forth their opinion at the English Wikiquote's Village pump. I'm not clear on what the "conflict of interest" mentioned is here. If it is because all participating Wikiquote editors (mostly sysops) supported Poetlister in her RfA (with none opposing, which is fairly common on en:WQ) and/or that the current WQ sysops have worked successfully with her thus far, I would also be concerned about the potential conflict of interest of any *Wikipedian* who has worked with WP's Poetlister, especially those who avidly supported her or have participated in sysopping, desysopping, or blocking actions against her. If there are other apparent conflicts of interest, Cbrown1023, please make them explicit. Thank you.
