While sighted/examined do not have a common workflow, I cannot think of any examined article that does not fulfill the criterium of sighted. Therefor, one could declare it to be one-dimensional.

I believe I see a problem with one dimension.
Assume that an older version is set on examined, a younger version on sighted. Then, we would want to show the reader the sighted version, but tell him that there is an older examined one.
This obviously works with two dimensions, but does it too with one?
